Shun Tominaga has lived and performed all over Europe and Japan. He grew up in Portugal and Spain, where he began studying classical music in earnest. After graduating from Katarina Gurska music academy, Madrid, he proceeded to Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid. In 2008, he received a Soloist Diploma from Hochschule für Musik Freiburg(University of Music, Freiburg or Freiburg Conservatory of Music) in Germany.
While still a student, the awards he won at piano competitions allowed him to travel all around Europe giving piano recitals and performing with other classical artists. After his graduation, he worked both as a piano lecturer and an accompanist at musical institutions.
Mr. Tominaga has won various awards, includes the Yamaha Hazen Award, Ibiza international piano competition, Spanish composer piano competition, and Monopoli international piano competition. More recently, he has returned to Japan to continue his musical career in his home country. In addition to his pursuits as a classical soloist, he has been experimenting with various other musical genres.
He had the honor to learn with Fernanda Wandschneider, Yuko Yamaoka, Vadim Gladkov, Joaquin Soriano and Felix Gottlieb.
